Smudging Set
This smudging set comprises: 
a unique Turky feather hand crafted by a UK artist 
Californian white sage stick.
It is traditional to use a feather to increase and direct the smoke from the burning herbs or smudge stick used during a smudging ceremony and using one brings the element of 'Air' into the ceremony.
An eagle feather would have been the most prized feather for smudging but it is now illegal to be in possession of an eagle feather unless you have express permission.
 
This smudging feather is created by a UK artist from a domesticated goose feather.
It has a leather wrapped handle and is decorated with glass beads.
Each feather is individually made to order and the colours of the leather and beads may be different from those pictured.

The Californian white sage smudge stick measures approx 13cm. Weight 17-20g
Set it alight and use it to cleanse and purify the air using the feather to guide the smoke where you want it to go.
It is grown in the USA and our suppliers tell us it is sustainably and ethically harvested by members of the Native American community with whom they have traded for over 30 years. They have permits to harvest sage growing on land near to San Diego. They pick the sage in a traditional and sacred manner, using blessings and leaving gifts for Mother Earth.
 
The set comes in fully recyclable/compostable packaging.
